Teacher Conservative All-Girls

When I was a teacher, my students called me by my first name. There were a few teachers at school who asked to be addressed by his surname, but was much more common for students to use our names. I went into this school from a conservative all girls school, where I was scolded by the director to ask the girls to use my name, and the students themselves do not know what to do with a teacher who asked that it be called just Melissa. Before this work, I was teaching at university level, where my students, once again, called me by my name at my request.

I was hoping that my loyalty, my professionalism in the last 12 years, will replace the current hypocrisy that has already been demonstrated with the Diocese of Springfield, “Judd said, adding that” this was a decision of the diocese, “which means that the institutional Church in Springfield could not stand the fact that a school employee could love someone of the same sex.

Judd hits the nail on the head when you use this word hypocrisy. Is it the dismissal of school employees to use a contraceptive method? Because it is technically against Catholic teaching. What about teachers and school employees who are divorced? Because that is also against the Church teaching.What a tragedy. Yes, the policy of the church gives them the right to do this. But that does not mean it is the right thing to do. One teacher valued, appreciated and congratulated the staff for their outstanding leadership, said she can not teach because she is a lesbian.
