Da Yuan Baijia Dayuan At the entrance you are greeted by staff dressed in period costume colors. The entrance is through the large red doors of the Grand that sit under the traditional name plate large black and gold. You walk along a private road lined with lanterns and walk around in a world trapped in time.Lanterns, abandoned cars, markers and other stone objects are placed and extended thought the courtyard and gardens.

The dining rooms inside are decorated with a warm yellow. Definitely helps a lot when you’re deep into winter outside already pleasant room. After lunch, we walked out of the courtyard. A pond and pergola were key. Simple and subtle, but a show easy to finish a meal and take a brisk walk to help digestion.
